How to get the Prague Christmas look
With our country's rich European history, many of us have an affinity for the way Europeans celebrate Christmas. Think Christmas markets, mulled wine, delicate ornaments, twinkling lights on a backdrop of snow capped peaks and you're on your way to a chic, Euro style Christmas.
This Christmas, World of Style collaborated with styling goddess, Chyka, to create 4 incredible Christmas settings - and here we take you through our Prague Christmas style.
If you're after a designer and chic Christmas, then the Prague style delivers this in spades with its darker and moodier colour palette and masculine undertones.
The Prague colour palette features greys, charcoals and matt black, the perfect base to layer from. Brushed brass cutlery shines next to an ink blue napkin and crisp white candles creating a dramatic aesthetic for those willing to create a bolder look this Christmas.
The signature forest green Christmas tree is laden in decorations of black, marble, navy and gold in a mix of the traditional bauble as well as the modern.
Geometric shapes and lines are important to this look - and we've added it to the table's glassware and to the tree's decorations.
The look is all tied together perfectly with a simple but impactful centrepiece of silver gum and olive foliage scattered down the centre of the table, and each place setting is adorned by a delicate bauble with geometric lines and contemporary black ink name tame tag.
